As a Medical Assistant (MA) or and LPN at our Garcia house (PRN), the applicant will actively participate with the multidisciplinary team to affectively meet behavioral health needs and care coordination of our clients. This will be accomplished through effective assessment, care management and collaboration within the scope of practice and under the supervision of nursing staff and the orders of a medical provider. The applicant will be responsible for checking in providers' clients (including taking vital signs), medical support and tracking per providers' orders and requests, procuring medication refills and prior authorizations when needed, returning client calls, obtaining all needed releases of information; procuring external medical records, medication lists, and lab reports; ensuring link/communication with PCP and other external providers.

Note that the Garcia House employees earn an additional 20% pay differential on top of their base rate listed below. Employees may also be eligible for additional pay based on evening, night, weekend or holiday work. Pay is based on relevant qualifications and experience. Hourly/ Non-exempt PRN hours and part-time hours available.
